Well at least part of it is all cleaned up... :p
Kinda.
This is where the geek magic happens.
Here is the shell from which this hermit dwells..
I mean, can you really blame a guy? :p

Meh...
Shit sucks... :\ Crappiness on multiple fronts.
Probably doesn't help that I am listening to something pretty depressing (though it really is how I feel)...
Though on a side note, I have been given some advice to vastly improve my personal life (in 30 days or less LOL). I regard her as my 'older sister' haha!
But me being me, I am actively taking steps on both fronts.
That's how I roll.
I can be down, but never out...

Networking Sucks
So I was trying to get my Xbox 360's wifi adapter to work yesterday.
Decided to do a routine firmware flash on my reasonably pricey router. So downloaded, and as I was flashing, an error message popped up... "Flashing are failed". Aside from the atrocious grammar, I was pissed. Firmware fuck ups only mean one thing. Dead hardware. Period.
True enough, it was dead. DHCP wasn't working at all. BLEH!
Warranty period should still be up but I wonder if it will cover it. Regardless, I loathe the fact I will have to spend a better part of an hour with a tech support call center in India that treats me like a nub. :\ (please sir, can you click, start, and click run - I interject: Type in cmd, enter, ipconfig/all, bla bla bla...)
So yeah, I'm on my spare Linksys WRT54G and it works fine right now. Will have to find time to call later-ish I guess...
On a more pleasant note, my Xbox 360 can now access the network using its wireless adapter...
